🍂 Autumn Mini Sessions 2025 – A Season of Magic, Colour & Stories


As a Swansea family photographer, autumn is one of my busiest (and favourite!) seasons. This year’s autumn mini sessions were filled with warm colours, beautiful light and families from all across Swansea and South Wales. From newborns to teens, dogs to horses, every session reminded me why I love capturing outdoor family photos in and around Swansea so much.

🎃 Pumpkin Patch Minis – Golden Corn & Big Smiles


We began the season at the pumpkin patch—one of the most popular spots for autumn mini sessions in Llanelli. While the pumpkins were beautiful, the corn field became my favourite backdrop. The tall golden stalks created a warm, rustic setting perfect for family photoshoots.

Children ran between the rows, parents cuddled close, and the golden-hour glow wrapped everything in a dreamy light. It was autumn magic at its best.

🌳 Woodland Minis – Yellow Leaves & Sunlit Magic


Next came my woodland minis, set in one of my favourite Swansea locations (Clyne Woods) for outdoor family photography. The trees had turned vibrant yellow, and the low autumn sun filtered through like something straight out of a storybook.

These sessions were peaceful and full of genuine emotion—perfect for families wanting natural, relaxed portraits. Whether it was grown-up children or tiny little ones wrapped up warm, this spot captured the heart of South Wales family photos.

🍁 Park Minis – Orange Tones & Crunchy Leaves


As autumn deepened, the final set of minis took place in Singleton Swansea park, bursting with warm orange tones. With crunchy leaves scattered everywhere, this location created the perfect playground for little ones during their Swansea child photography sessions.

Families embraced the crisp air, threw leaves, laughed together, and enjoyed the last splash of colour before winter arrived.

🐾 Families of Every Kind


One of my favourite things about being a Swansea photographer is the huge variety of families (including members with paws & hooves) I get to meet. This year, I photographed:

• Newborns as young as 7 weeks

• Teens and grown-up children

• Family dogs (who always steal the show!)

• And even  horses, which are always part of the family!


Capturing unique family bonds is what I love most—whether that’s with little ones, pets, or even horses as part of the family.
