FAQ – Booking a Photoshoot in Swansea for People, Pets & Weddings
1. How do I book a photoshoot in Swansea?
You can book by filling out my contact form or sending me a message directly. I’ll get back to you with available dates, package details, and location suggestions. Whether you’re looking for a Swansea wedding photographer, a family photoshoot, or pet portraits, the booking process is quick and simple.
2. Do you photograph both people and animals?
Absolutely! I specialise in photographing humans and their furry (or hoofed!) friends — from family sessions with your dog to wedding portraits with pets. Many couples choose to include their animals in their big day, and as a wedding photographer in Swansea, I love capturing those moments.
3. Where will the photoshoot take place?
I offer photoshoots across Swansea, the Gower Peninsula, Mumbles, and surrounding areas in South Wales. Popular spots include Rhossili Bay, Three Cliffs Bay, Clyne Gardens, and local wedding venues. If you’re planning your big day, I can recommend stunning locations for wedding photography in Swansea and beyond.
4. How long does a photoshoot last?
Most sessions last 60–90 minutes, giving plenty of time for everyone (including pets) to relax. For weddings, I offer half-day and full-day coverage to capture every special moment.
5. What should we wear for the photoshoot?
Choose comfortable outfits in neutral or complementary colours. Avoid large logos or neon tones. If animals are involved, think about colours that will look good next to their fur or coat. For weddings, I can offer guidance on creating a cohesive look for your wedding party.
6. Can my dog or horse be included in the shoot?
Yes! I love including animals in photoshoots and weddings. Dogs should be comfortable around people and kept on a lead if necessary (I can edit leads out afterwards). Horses should be groomed beforehand for best results.
7. What if the weather is bad on the day?
Don’t worry — if it’s heavy rain or unsafe conditions, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. For weddings, I always have a backup photography plan so we can still create stunning images whatever the weather.
8. How far in advance should I book?
For weekends and golden hour slots, I recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance. If you’re booking me as your Swansea wedding photographer, popular summer and autumn wedding dates can book up a year or more ahead.
9. How will I receive my photos?
Your images will be delivered via a secure online gallery where you can view, download, and share them. Wedding clients also receive a keepsake USB and the option to order luxury albums.
10. Do you travel outside Swansea?
Yes! I cover Neath, Cardiff, Pembrokeshire, Brecon, Bristol and beyond. Whether it’s a destination wedding or a countryside family shoot, I’m happy to travel to capture your story.
