The Timeline Roadmap

How long does everything take? Whether you want to make the most out of having photos taken or want it quick and painless so you can focus on being with your guest, I will cater my timeline to your needs.

• Getting Ready: I will arrive 2 hours before the ceremony to capture all detail and getting ready shots.
• First Look & Portraits: This can vary on you but can be from 15mins-45mins and be put into small burst throughout the day.
• Family Formals: 15-30 minutes (depending on the number of people on the list, can be more if more than 10 requested).
• The Golden Hour: A 15-minute "sneak away" for those sunset shots.

Capturing Your Vibe

Helpful Preparation Tips

1. The "Details" Box

On the morning of the wedding, I usually begin by styling and photographing your smaller keepsakes. To save us both time, and to keep things stress-free, please gather the following into a single box or bag before I arrive:

• The Stationery: Two clean copies of your invitation suite, including the envelopes and any wax seals.
• The Rings: All three rings. The engagement ring and both wedding bands.
• The Essentials: Your perfume or cologne, jewellery, shoes, and any family heirlooms.
• Florals: It’s always lovely if your florist can provide a few loose "styling blooms" or snippets of greenery for these shots.

2. Prioritise the Light

When you are deciding where to have your hair and makeup done, natural light is always our best friend. A room with large windows and neutral-coloured walls will ensure your skin tones look soft, bright, and flattering in every frame.

3. Creating a Clutter-Free Zone

I appreciate that things can get a little hectic whilst you are getting ready, but do try to designate one area of the room, ideally the one with the best window light as a "clutter-free zone." If we can keep the suitcases, garment bags, and snacks tucked away in the opposite corner, your "getting ready" photos will look far more serene and timeless.

4. Trust the Sunset

If I catch your eye during the wedding breakfast because the light is hitting just right, do trust me! Taking just ten or fifteen minutes for "Golden Hour" portraits often results in the most romantic, relaxed images of the entire day. I promise to have you back to your guests and the champagne before you’ve even been missed.

Q: We would love to book you, what do we do next?

A: Amazing! Get in touch with your date for me to check my availability, then we will arrange a meeting to have a chat to make sure we are the right fit for each other!

Q: How do we reserve our wedding date?

A: A deposit & signed contract is required in order to get your wedding on the calendar. The remainder of your balance is due a month prior to your wedding.

Q: How many photos do we get?

A: I don't have a set number of photos as every wedding is different, however, I take 1000s at each wedding and will hold no good photos back from you.

Q: Is the engagement photoshoot included?

A: Yes! Engagement photoshoots are included with all packages but there is no pressure to do one.

Q:We always feel and look awkward in front of the camera!

A: Most people do when they don't have guidance, I like to keep my couples moving and having fun so you won't even realise you are having photos taken!

Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your site or social media?

A: I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or not they want their photos displayed publicly. I’d love to show off you & your images, if you’re game, great! If not, that's okay, too.

Q: Will our photos get featured in a magazine or blog?

A: While many of our sessions do get featured, this isn't something that is guaranteed. Most publishers are interested in uniquely designed weddings.



Q: Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?

A: Minor edits will be made to all of your images, but I believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful & unique. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits.

Q: What sets you apart from other photographers?

A: With years of training under my belt, I know how to guide clients to make them feel relaxed while looking their very best. I use natural lighting as often as possible and make sure my sessions are always fun!

Q: How many photographers will be there at our wedding?

A: All of our wedding collections come with a single photographer, but you are more than welcome to add a second shooter for an additional cost.

Q: Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?

A: Yes! From wedding planners to florists and caterers, I have worked with some of the best companies in the industry & would love to share their information with you!

Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: I highly recommend ordering prints through one of my professional vendors, but it isn't required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so I always love to help with prints!

Q: What equipment do you use?

A: I use all of the latest Sony equipment. I always carry two Sony A7 IV, 50 mm lens, 12-16 mm Lens, 24-70 mm lens, & the 70-200 mm lens, 85mm Prime lens, Dji Mini drone and among other items.

Q: Are the people featured on your site models?

A: For the most part, no. While I am lucky enough to work with gorgeous clients, the majority of the images shown on my site and blog are of regular, paying clients.

What To Expect

Hair + Makeup

Make sure to book a trial with these to make sure they fit your vibe, we can also arrange our engagement session to be on the same day as your trial to see how your hair and makeup looks in professional photos!

Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure your date. The remaining of your balance is due one month prior to your session.

Scheduling

Weddings are scheduled 9-12 months in advance but I am always open to last minute dates if I am available. Cancellations and reschedules must be made via email or phone at least 48 hours prior to your session. All deposits are non-refundable.

Wardrobe

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable & confident the morning of the wedding , something that is easy to get out of depending on the hair style you are going for! Don’t hesitate to ask for outfit recommendations. I love getting to help with outfit inspiration!

Peace of Mind (The "What Ifs")

I know how much planning goes into your wedding, and I want you to feel completely confident that your memories are in safe hands. I take the "what ifs" very seriously so that you don't have to:

• The Gear: I always shoot with two cameras, each with dual memory card slots. This means your photos are being backed up instantly, as I take them.
• The Digital Safety Net: Once I get home, your images are immediately backed up onto multiple physical hard drives and a secure cloud-based server.
• The Contingency Plan: In the highly unlikely event that I am unable to attend due to a genuine emergency, I am part of a wonderful network of professional photographers who can step in to ensure your day is covered beautifully.
• The British Weather: Whether it is a bright summer afternoon or a moody, rainy autumn day, I am fully equipped to handle all lighting conditions. Some of my favourite, most romantic shots have happened under an umbrella!

When You’ll See Your Photos

The anticipation of seeing your photos is half the fun, and I don't want to keep you waiting longer than necessary. Here is my typical delivery timeline:

• The Sneak Peek: Within 48 hours of your wedding, I will send over a small "preview gallery" of highlights. These are perfect for sharing with family or posting on social media while the excitement is still fresh.
• The Full Gallery: Your complete, hand-edited gallery will be ready within six to eight weeks. You will receive a link to a private, password-protected online gallery where you can download your high-resolution images, share them with loved ones, and even order professional-grade prints.
