Styled Wedding Shoot at the King Arthur, Gower 🤍✨

Where do I even start with this one… honestly, just wow.

We wanted to create something a little different. Not to show what a wedding looks like, but what it can feel like… relaxed, personal, a bit wild, and completely you.

Set at the beautiful King Arthur Hotel, we brought together a mix of styles. From simple, elegant moments to full-on dramatic, runaway bride energy (very Taylor Swift coded 🙊).

We had three incredible dresses by Julie James at Stephanie Allin, paired with a gorgeous green suit from Dyfed Menswear that tied perfectly into our earthy palette of greens, burgundy and browns.

Think textured fabrics, moss, candlelight… a little French-inspired picnic, a little intimate dinner party, and of course dog-friendly always 🐾

Day 1 🤍

We started with our first tablescape, playing with light, angles, and all those dreamy details while the models got glammed by Katie at Gower Glow. I focused on all the little details too, dresses, accessories, the dogs, and the decor styled by Andrew at Strawberry Maple.

Then came the indoor shots. Full flash, dark beams, moody vibes and honestly I’m obsessed. We even got some fun shots on the bar which locals loved 😂 plus some cosy, relaxed moments with Maple in the dog-friendly accommodation.

Outdoors, we met the lovely Gower Celebrant Margaret who made everything feel so personal. We captured a handfasting which was so fun and I got the drone up to show off the stunning gardens.

Then our favourite setup, the picnic elopement.

So intimate and chilled, just you, your person and your dog. The kitchen put together a beautiful cheese board, we had a couple of glasses of bubbles, and Maple had a well deserved nap on Lydia’s dress.

Also slightly obsessed with the vintage picnic basket I found on Facebook Marketplace, I will definitely be using that again 😂

Day 2 🖤

This day was all about Jack, the King Arthur’s very own black lab who loved all the fuss 🐾

We captured some relaxed moments with the groom and stylist Andrew, alongside support from Pawfect Day Chaperones making sure everything ran smoothly for the dogs.

We then finished with a more moody table setup paired with an alternative cake from Melys Swansea, which was the perfect ending to the shoot.

This shoot was all about creativity, collaboration and showing how your wedding can be completely your own vibe. Whether that’s barefoot picnics, candlelit dinners or your dog stealing the spotlight 🐶✨

At the end of the day, this shoot was all about showing that your wedding doesn’t have to fit a mould. It can be relaxed, a little bit different, full of personality and centred around what matters most to you
